First Mini Album - A Few Inside Pieces

These pieces i am going to have hanging from a Tim Holts swivel clasp, the first piece will be in between the two snowman pages, and the second one will be in between the house and the last page. I hope you guys enjoyed my creation so far. I am going to be adding many more fun things to this mini, so stay tuned.

Thanks,

Mila

First Mini Album - Fourth Page

Here is the fourth page and the back. On the front, i added a cute little snowgirl from the doodlecharms cartridge, and on the back i added an adorable little house from Joys of The Season. I thought it fit perfectly with the page.

First Mini Album - Third Page

Third page and back of third page. In the first photo with the reindeer i am going to add a photo, and in the second photo (back of third page) i tried to make the image look like it had ice on it. I used UTEE for this, since the snowmen were nice and frosty i wanted to give an image of how cold it was. I hope you can see that effect in the picture. It looks really cool in real life.

First Mini Album - Second Page

Here is the second page of the album, as well as the back of the second page. Inside the ornament i am going to add some journaling as well as a photo.

First Mini Album

I am so excited to be posting the begining stages of my very first mini album. This is a mini that i am making of my niece for my brother in law. I am learning a lot going through the process of making this album, i never realized how fun mini's are. The paper i used was by My Minds Eye (Christmas Collection), I used a lot of Tim Holts distress inks and of course the most amazing tool of all my Cricut. I really use the Cricut on every single layout that i do. I am in love. :) The theme of this album is of course Christmas, and i really wanted each page to stand out on it's own, so for each of the pages at the end i created a tab of some sort.

Comments appreciated!

Out Sick

Hey everyone, sorry i have not posted anything. I have been sick the past few days. I have been working on a few items though, I was working on a minu album of my niece for my brother in law. I will post what i have done so far, it is turning out cuter then i thought, i was pretty nervous since i have never made a mini album before. I am really starting to like mini albums. I will try to have a picture posted sometime tomorrow. I am also going to try to do some video tutorials during the holidays.

Hope everyone is well.

Thanks,

Mila

Thank You Card

Here is a Thank You card that i made about two weeks ago for my proctor. I used my Cricut Expression to cut out the card (Wild Card Cartridge) and then i used Tim Holtz distress inks to distress the edges of the card as well as a Tim Holtz mask for the oval shape. I really love the way this card turned out. Don't forget to leave a comment. Thanks!

Cancun, Mexico

Here is a lay out that i did a few months ago, i think it was back in June. I submitted it for a scrap sketch contest. It was my very first one. I will try to upload a few more layouts of Mexico. It was the most amazing vacation. Comments Welcome!

My First Post

I am so excited to start this blog, i love scrapbooking. It is really a stress reliver for me. I am a mom, a wife, a full time employee and a student at the University of Wisconsin Platteville and i love to do crafts. How do you do it all you may ask, well i guess i just figure i want to live my life to the fullest and there are so many things that i would like to do, so what if i am a little tired. When i see my little one smile and be amazed at the scrapbooks that i make it makes everything all worth it. Once i start scrapping i forget about how tired i am and just get lost in what i am doing. I hope everyone enjoys the layouts and cards i make in the future.

Thanks,

Mila
