12 x 12 Canvas Layout

This is another layout i did inspired by jadedstudios.blogspot.com. It is on a canvas back round again and this canvas is going to go in the middle of a series of canvas's that i am working on. I used Graphic paper, Prima bling and flowers. I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Bigz Die - Elegant Flourishes, for the flourishes at the bottom. Another ornate plate by Tim Holtz. I glimmer mist some of the flowers and used some Prima lace in the corner. I made the lolli pop flower my self up at the top left hand corner. Those are so much fun to make, i think i am getting addicted. Arlene at mybutterflykisses12 has some great video tutorials on how to make it. If anyone is interested i can also try to put out a video on how to make it. Please feel free to leave questions or comments.

Relaxing on the Beach

This is another picture of my son just relaxing on the beach. I actually created this on a canvas back round that i got at Michaels. I got this idea from Jade at Jadedstudios.blogspot.com, that girl is so amazing. Her work is absolutely breathtaking. I am making a series of canvas's to hang right above my craft desk. I love the way it turned out. I used Graphic 45 paper, which i am starting to really love, again thanks to Jade :). I used an ornate plate from Tim Holtz and Prima bling, i also used chipboard pieces from K & Companies Sea Glass collection. Above the ornate plate i stuck a little tag that comes out and i wrote a meassage for my son on it. When he is old enough he can take it out then put it back. I thought it would be fun for the interaction. Please feel free to leave comments or questions.

Beach Fishing Layout

Here is another layout i did using K & Companies Sea Glass paper collection. I really like it, it is kind of vintagy looking, but not enough so that i can use it for my son. This is another layout that i did to go with the layout i posted previously. This one is not too fancy, but i kind of like the simplicity of it. My son was just making different poses on the beach, some were like he was flying It was really cute. I used some Prima lace for the top border as well as Prima Bling in the center, Tim Holtz adage ticket and a Hero Arts stamp for the journaling tag. I used a chipboard piece from the Sea Glass collection. The journaling tag i actually made out of Prima packaging that flowers came in. I just distressed it a bit and stamped right on it. I like the way it turned out. I left room for journaling to the left side. Please feel free to leave questions or comments.

This is a layout I did for SassyLady's (http://www.shesasassylady.blogspot.com) blog give away, unfortunately i did not make it in time to submit, but i had a blast creating it anyway. I used my Gypsy of course as well as my Expression. The cartiridges i used for this layout include: A Child's Year and Life's a Beach. I did some fun welding for the border strip of sharks behind the Tim Holtz Movie Strip. That was a ton of fun to do. I used paper from Graphic 45, K & Company Sea Side paper (i think that is what it's called). Stamps are by Tim Holtz, and the Big Kahuna has Martha Stewart Clear marbles or beads. I am not sure what they are called exactly, i think micro beads. They are really fun to use and i like to cover my words and letters with them. Gives nice texture i think. I edged almost eveything with Tim Holts Vintage Photo and Bundled Sage. Please feel free to leave comments or questions.

Hey everyone,

Sorry i have been MIA, but i am finally done with my Statistics class and am so relieved. I feel like this whole week i have been on vacation or something. Anyway, i am currently working on some 12 x 12 pages from our vacation last year. I will be posting some of those pages hopefully this weekend. I am just so excited that i am going to be able to spend more time scrapbooking this summer and best of all i can relax with my family and don't have to rush at everything all the time.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday! Look out for some new posts this upcoming week.
